Sunflower Toile Napkin

TOILE, A FAVORITE 18TH-CENTURY DESIGN, remains popular today. Delicate toile designs often created floral assemblages or pictorial scenes. An 18th-century copperplate printed fabric in The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation collections inspired this floral toile, and full-color sunflower blooms have been added to create a fun, layered look for the table.
