These days, who does not love a good charcuterie board? They are such a fun and flexible way to serve delicious treats for family and friends in a relaxed setting!

With the holidays just around the corner, we wanted to provide a couple of seasonal variations that are sure to be a hit during family time or casual gatherings.

Hot Chocolate Charcuterie Board

We chose our rustic Farmhouse Wood and Marble Charcuterie Board with its elegantly engraved “Gather” sentiment as a base paired by our Home For Christmas Salt and Pepper Shakers. We wanted to make decorating your hot chocolate fun, so we filled the salt and pepper shakers with cinnamon and cocoa powder.

Next, we added some peppermint candy canes and cinnamon sticks to add a festive twist. Both of these can either be crushed for toppings or used whole as stirrers. They add just that little extra something to your hot chocolate.

We recommend using two different sized marshmallows on your charcuterie board because everyone has a personal preference when it comes to adding marshmallows to their hot cocoa. After your marshmallows, you will then want to add some milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips.

Now you have the perfect hot cocoa board to serve with your hot chocolate in your favorite mugs at your next get together. We made sure there was plenty of whipped cream and sweet toppings for a delicious taste in our Home for the Holidays Mug

Floral Butter Board

We’re hopping on the popular butter board trend with a floral twist just in time for Thanksgiving! Preparing appetizers or snacks for gatherings can be fun and artsy, as we show with this tutorial. The main thing needed to create this messy masterpiece is a charcuterie board; we used our stylish Split-P Round Charcuterie Board

Instead of the traditional cheese and cured meat selection, we will be pairing the charcuterie board with honey butter.

Other ingredients needed to recreate this look includes:
-Raspberries
-Blackberries
-Mint
-Bread
-Thyme
Prepare your butter slightly beforehand by leaving it out for at least 15 minutes to achieve a softened form. This will make the butter much easier to spread along the surface.

To begin this process, start with creating the flower petals made of the honey butter. It is recommended to try out a couple of flowers on a different platter in order to decide how big of a butter slice to take for each petal. We tested out a few butter flowers on our stylish Harlequin serveware

We utilized our Matte Black Spreaders to cut a generous amount of butter for a clumpier and more textured look. Swipe the knife with a butter slice along the board in a vertical manner, applying pressure as it nears where the middle of the daisy inspired flower would be. Simply repeat this step around an imaginary circle to create each individual flower. Then add more throughout the board for a lovely butter bouquet..

Add berries to construct the middle portion of the flower. We switched back and forth from raspberries and blackberries, but any small berries can be used in place.

This step is purely optional. If you would like to provide a more realistic look, we recommend adding a mint leaf or two to each flower. Plus, mint leaves are a refreshing appetizer!

Next, add slices of French bread in an empty space on the board accompanied by some thyme. Your flower butter board is finished! Pair with some lovely holiday tabletop accents, like our modern Tidings & Tinsel
